Includes etiologies, cultural and social implications of disability and the theories and systems that support assesment, interventions, and support services. Designed for special education majors.

Introduction to and practice with standardized evaluatory tools and teacher-made criterion referenced tests for the evaluation of exceptional students.

Course provides an indepth study of language disorders linked to learning dysfunction. Explores strategies for assessment and remediation.

This course provides an overview of a wide range of forms of assistive technology inclluding switches, computer use and adaptations, and communication devices. Provides opportunities for candidates to develop devices for use in meeting the needs of students with physical and sensory disabilities.
