Explores health and disease cross the life-span in terms of person, place, time, fundamental pathophysiologic processes as they impact population-based heatlh and disease, the epidemiologic triad, prevention, trends, and resources. Additional concepts such as global health, accidents, injuries, and sexually tranmitted, hospital-acquired, and emerging infections are also explored.
