Diagnosis of the renal system, the central nervous system, and other systemic diseases. Study of the principles of hemostasis and blood coagulation, including interpretation of results. Includes practice of manual and automated procedures and their relationship to diagnosing disease.

Students will correlate results with clinical conditions.

Simulated lab sessions are assigned to evaluate potential adverse reactions to transfusions.
