Institutional Assessment and Accreditation
Institutional Assessment and Accreditation supports student learning through coordination of ongoing assessment of academic programs and core courses. IAA works in collaboration with faculty to develop assignments, assessment methods, and documentation processes to effectively track and improve student learning. In addition, IAA works with administrative units to ensure a high quality student experience across all areas of the institution. IAA also compiles documentation and evidence supplied to SACSCOC to satisfy regional accreditation requirements. IAA models and encourages engagement of students, employers, alumni, faculty, and staff in these processes.
