SPAN 4200 - Introduction to Hispanic Literature (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Introduction to literary and cultural texts in Spanish: to their production, interpretation, and signification. Selected works may include examples of poetry, narrative, drama, essay, and film. Students will study and practice the basics of textual analysis while they continue to work on the ability to narrate, describe, and explain in all time frames.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in SPAN 3131 and SPAN 3132 .
