Japanese Minor

Location(s): Statesboro, Fully Online

The Japanese Minor is a valuable addition to many majors. Students in any field of study -Anthropology, Art, Business, Criminal Justice,  Education, English, Health Sciences, History, International Studies, ROTC, among others- should explore the option of this minor to enhance their language and cultural skill set and improve their prospects in the job market. Students interested in developing advanced levels of Japanese language proficiency and intercultural competence are encouraged to pursue instead the World Languages and Cultures, B.A.  with a concentration in Japanese Studies. The World Languages and Cultures, B.A.  can easily be added to any major as a double major or dual degree. For further information, please consult with an advisor in the College of Arts and Humanities Advisement Center or visit the Department of World Language and Cultures website.
