The focus of the program is to develop practical knowledge and skills in the areas of substance use processes, treatments, ethics, and multicultural practices for individuals currently seeking bachelor’s degrees from Georgia Southern. The frame of the program provides the necessary training for bachelor’s level students to make meaningful progress toward a substance use certification after graduation. Multiple certifications exist within the state of Georgia associated with the provision of substance use care, which will lead to career opportunities for successful graduates.

Prerequisite Courses
Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in each of these two courses. Required Courses: 12 Credit Hours
