Prerequisite Requirements: 2-10 Credit Hours

• BIOL 1107 - Principles of Biology I (3 Credit Hours)

• or  BIOL 1107L - Principles of Biology I Laboratory (1 Credit Hour)  

• BIOL 1108 - Principles of Biology II (3 Credit Hours)

• or  BIOL 1108L - Principles of Biology II Laboratory (1 Credit Hour)  

• CHEM 1211K - Principles of Chemistry I (4 Credit Hours)

Total Credit Hours: 2-10

Minor Program Requirements: 15 Credit Hours

• BIOL 3131 - Physiology (3 Credit Hours)
• BIOL 3133 - Evolution and Ecology (3 Credit Hours)
• BIOL 3134 - Cell and Molecular Biology (3 Credit Hours)

Total Credit Hours: 15

Additional Minor Requirements/ Recommendations

A Departmental Advisor must approve all coursework. BCHM 3200  and BCHM 5201  cannot count towards the Biology Minor Students must have a grade of “C” or better in all courses used towards the Minor in Biology.

Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors.
