Writing Concentration

Concentration Program

The concentration in Writing requires a total of 18 credit hours.  Students are required to complete 6 upper division WRIT and/or LING courses.

This concentration is ONLY available for students who have as their major the Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies or the Online Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies.

Select six Upper Division Writing and Linguistics (WRIT prefix and/or LING prefix) courses for which the prerequisites have been met. Must include a minimum of 18 hours of WRIT and/or LING electives numbered 3000 or above (maximum 3 hours of WRIT 4790).18

Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
