The Jack N. Averitt College of Graduate Studies offers a quick admission option for several master’s programs. Eligible, currently-enrolled, domestic and international undergraduate students who meet the university-wide criteria of a cumulative 3.20+ GPA can qualify for this admissions pathway. Depending on the graduate program, participating degree programs may have additional criteria for eligibility.
Georgia Southern undergraduate students who meet the criteria outlined by the participating programs will complete the Preferred Admit form during their graduating semester. Eligible students are fast-tracked through the graduate admissions process, exempting the student from the application fee, potentially waiving test scores, and other supplemental documentation required by the participating programs. Students must submit the preferred admit form before the next semester begins after their graduating semester. Eligible students may use this fast-track admissions process for one participating graduate program.
As with all admission decisions, meeting the criteria does not guarantee admission. All admission decisions are subject to program availability and capacity constraints. Successful completion of an undergraduate degree is required for enrollment into any graduate program.
