An introduction to the academic disciplines and professions housed in the Department of English. Through guest lectures, case studies, degree planning, field-based activities, and research projects, students will investigate the academic disciplines and professions associated with an education in literature, creative writing, technical and professional writing, linguistics, rhetoric and composition, and film and media studies.
