RDSC 3001 - Radiologic Sciences I (5 Credit Hours) Lecture Contact Hours: 5 An introduction to radiologic sciences and the principles of radiation physics, biology, and protection. Topics include: professional organizations, accreditation, certification, professional development, ethics and legal issues, electromagnetic physics, nuclear physics, x-ray production, biological effects of radiation and safety, radiation measurement, and nuclear decay as they relate to the medical setting.
Prerequisite(s): Must be accepted into a radiologic sciences major program. Repeat Limit: Repeat Once When Offered: Once a year
