MGED 3131 is developed around five broad themes: (1) young adolescent development and middle level (2) curriculum, (3) instruction and assessment, (4) philosophy and organization, and (5) professional roles. The course also includes a field component.

Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education.
