HDFS 3136 - Adult Development and Later Life (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Contact Hours: 3 This course is designed to give students an understanding of the factors that affect individuals and families from emerging/young adulthood through late adulthood. Theories and current research on the physical, cognitive, and psychosocial development of adults is provided. Additional Topics Include changes in family function and structure, research methodologies, contemporary issues in adult development, and successful aging across the adult years. Service Learning hours required.
