CHEM 5420 - Principles of Drug Design (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Contact Hours: 1-2 A course designed to introduce the chemistry of drug design and development, as well as drug actions and their impacts on society. Topics include drug discovery, receptor site theory, neurotransmitters, pharmacokinetics, federal drug laws, drugs in sports and individual classes of drugs.
