Candidates will learn and apply Instructional Leadership concepts and skills to supervise, evaluate and improve classroom instruction and student learning through supporting and mentoring teachers through career stages, supervising instruction, and developing opportunities for professional learning. Focus will be given to supervision of the program and processes for curriculum, including reading. Candidates will learn to sustain continuous school improvement through ongoing professional development, including professional learning communities.
