HIST 4640 - Senior Capstone (3 Credit Hours)

This course is a group-supported independent study, combining online group meetings with one-on-one individual meeting.  The prerequisite is to have taken at least one upper division History class (3000- or 5000-level) as well as Historical Methods (HIST 2630). All students must revise their resume as part of this process and create Linkedin or equivalent digital resume as well.  The themes emphasized in Methods as targets for a history major (career readiness, presentation skills, information and data literacy, adaptable research skills, fluency in reading and writing) are emphasized in this class as well. Students will do one (or more) of the following: Internship Project, Digital History Project, Public Presentation Project, Independent Research Project.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of HIST 2630  and HIST 3000 or 5000 (any number)
Repeat Limit: Unlimited
