SONO 3001 - Sonographic Principles, Theory, and Physics I (4 Credit Hours) Lecture Contact Hours: 4 This course is an introduction to sonography specialties, sonographic instrumentation, propagation principles and interactions, the theoretical concepts and scanning techniques of adult and pediatric abdominal, gynecological, and obstetrical content and exam procedures, and the standards and practices related to diagnostic medical sonography.
Prerequisite(s): Admission to the program. Corequisite(s): SONO 3001L Restriction(s): Degree, Field of Study Repeat Limit: Repeat Once When Offered: Once a year
