ART 3325 - Photography: Introduction (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Contact Hours: 3 Lab Contact Hours: 2 This is a studio course that explores fundamental techniques and applications of the photographic medium within the context of art. Students gain technical proficiency with camera control, learn about historical and current trends and artists, and apply the aesthetics of photographic composition to their work. Students develop critical and conceptual thinking skills, creative problem solving, and the development of a personal visual voice. Digital or analog processes may be used and will vary according to instructor and available facilities.
