CHEM 1211K - Principles of Chemistry I (4 Credit Hours) Lecture Contact Hours: 0,3 Lab Contact Hours: 0,3 First course in a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors. Topics to be covered include composition of matter, stoichiometry, periodic relations, and nomenclature. Laboratory exercises supplement the lecture material.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in MATH 1111 or placement eligibility for a higher math course. Repeat Limit: Not Repeatable
