Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) is an interdisciplinary program offering a minor and concentration. WGSS is for everybody. It is about all genders. It is about systems of power & oppression; it is about race, class, sexuality, and nationality. It is intersectional.

WGSS is a large and growing field, leading to jobs in social work, public policy, law, education, politics, public health, non-profit, advocacy, lobbying, activism, and international relations.

Minor Requirements (15 Credit Hours)


Select Nine to Twelve Hours from the Following Credit Hours: 9-12


(At least 9 credit hours must be from courses numbered 3000 or higher.)

Total Credit Hours: 15


Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
