Additional Requirements: 4 Credit Hours


Field of Study Requirements: 18 Credit Hours


Select 9-12 credit hours from the following:


Major Requirements: 31 Credit Hours


Fundamental Knowledge: 15 Credit Hours


Select 5 courses from at least 4 different topic areas to total at least 15 hours

Major Capstone: 3 Credit Hours


Major Elective: 6 Credit Hours


Select any 6 hours of upper division PSYC courses (3000 or above) not already taken, including experiential learning opportunities in the Psychology program (3729, 3899, 3900, 4131, 4143, 4191 and 4991, 4740, 4790, 4791, 4841).

General Electives: 29 Credit Hours


At least 8 hours must be upper division (3000 or above)

Total Credit Hours: 124


Other Program Requirements


Students must earn a minimum grade of “C” in all required PSYC and Related Field courses, as well as all prerequisite courses before enrolling in the advanced courses.

Advisement


Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
