In addition to completing the course requirements for a certificate, in order to receive a certificate, it is necessary to complete the B.S. in Software Engineering degree program.

- In addition to completing the course requirements for a certificate, in order to receive a certificate, it is necessary to complete the B.S. in Software Engineering degree program.
- A minimum of grade of “C” is required for each CSCI course taken in the major. This applies to all courses (lower and upper division).
Advisement
Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
