Foreign Language Minor

Prerequisite Requirements Credit Hours: 12

All courses must be in the same language

• FORL 1090 - Selected Topics in Foreign Languages (1-3 Credit Hours) (Elementary Language I)
• FORL 1090 - Selected Topics in Foreign Languages (1-3 Credit Hours)  (Elementary Language II)
• FORL 2090 - Intermediate Foreign Language (1-3 Credit Hours) (Intermediate Language I)
• FORL 2090 - Intermediate Foreign Language (1-3 Credit Hours)  (Intermediate Language II)

Total Credit Hours: 12

Minor Program Requirements Credit Hours: 15

• FORL - Fifteen upper-division credit hours (15) in the same non-English language that does not currently have a minor at Georgia Southern University. (Students must earn a minimum grade of “C” in each course in the foreign language.)

Advisement

Undergraduate Academic Advisement at Georgia Southern is provided to all degree-seeking undergraduate students by professional advisors. Academic Advisors are located on all three Georgia Southern University campuses. Students are required to meet with their assigned Academic Advisor at least once a semester.
