WRIT 4530 - Fiction Writing (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 A creative writing workshop in which students review and practice the fundamentals of fiction writing, including narrative structures, character development, and other aspects of craft . Students read and discuss fiction by established writers, evaluate their work and the work of their peers, and produce a portfolio of instructor-assigned and self-generated fiction pieces.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in WRIT 3130 or permission ofinstructor.
