THEA 4337 - Costume Design (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 1-2 Lab Hours: 0 This course provides students with an in-depth survey of the theory and practice of costume design. The course relies on textual analysis to create character through clothing, introduces students to the aesthetic principles of costume design, develops basic figure drawings and color media skills, and applies those skills and principles via the creation of costume renderings.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in THEA 2332 and THEA 2300 .
