TCLD 8538 - TCLD Capstone: Application & Advocacy (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course is the capstone for the M.Ed in Teaching Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (TCLD) students. In this course, students will examine a variety of research-based methods for teaching culturally and linguistically diverse students. Students will enhance their awareness of culturally and linguistically diverse students’ strengths and needs and consider the best ways to incorporate these into the process of curriculum design and implementation. Course participants will evaluate and critically examine teaching and learning for the culturally and linguistically diverse students in their local context and develop an asset-based action plan to enhance the educational experience for students and/or their families.
Restriction(s): NO Undergraduate Semester
