Practice of Superior-level Spanish-proficiency skills through the examination of the societies of the Spanish-speaking world, with particular focus on the various minority groups. Graduate students must produce an extra paper/project, give an extra conference-length presentation, and conduct extra research that is not required of the undergraduate students.
