PUBH 4134 - Research Methods and Evaluation in Health Education and Promotion (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course introduces the student to research methods used in health education and promotion. Examines the rationale and procedure to evaluate health education/promotion programs. Focuses on several topics including: research design, methods of program evaluation, planning research and evaluation, the politics and ethics of evaluation, measurement, sampling logistics, data analysis and the development of a student project.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in PUBH 2131 . Corequisite(s): PUBH 4132 .
