POLS 7332 - State Government (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 A systematic study of the growing role of the states in the development and administration of domestic social policy in the United States. Special attention is given to the capacity building in state government and the devolution of power to the states. Specific policy areas in state government including education, crime control, and economic development are examined in-depth.
