POLS 4438 - Legal Research and Writing (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course provides a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of legal research and writing including finding the law, employing research aids, updating and validating research, using legal citation form, reading and analyzing precedents and statutes, and employing rule-based reasoning in writing legal documents.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in POLS 1101 .
