MENG 3135 - Machine Design (3 Credit Hours)

Modes of failures including both static and dynamic failure theories will be introduced in
the course. Detailed design of Machine Components such as transmission shafts, keys,
couplings, bearings, springs, gears, clutches, brakes and fasteners will be covered.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in ENGR 3233 and MENG 2110 or permission of the department.
