HIST 7781 - Professional Internship in Public History (1-6 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 1-6 Lab Hours: 0 This course is designed to give graduate students applied history experiences in museums, historical societies, historical sites, or other venues approved by the History Department Chair or Graduate Director. May be taken only by History graduate students or Certificate in Public History students. The course requires a minimum of 150 hours at the approved site. Maximum of 3 credit hours may apply toward the M.A. degree for students pursuing the thesis option; maximum of 6 credit hours may apply toward the M.A. degree for students pursuing the non-thesis option. This course will not substitute for thesis credit or non-thesis project credit required for the M.A. degree.
