Topics in the history of African-American people emphasizing their cultural, social, economic, political, national and/or regional experiences. Graduate students will be required to complete additional assignments beyond the scope of the undergraduate requirements that demonstrate a level of mastery of the subject matter appropriate to graduate level work, as determined by the instructor.
