FREN 3300 - French Phonetics and Phonology (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course will help students better their pronunciation and understanding of the French language through an in-depth analysis of sounds and the rules that govern French as it is spoken around the world today. Students Will learn how sounds are produced, which sounds belong to the French language, and how spelling relates to pronunciation. Conducted in French.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in FREN 2002 or FREN 2060 or departmental approval.
