ELEM 7799 - Professional Internship (6 Credit Hours)

Designed for those students who are employed in an approved accredited school setting and who are teaching on a non-renewable teaching certificate. The student completes the course requirements in the classroom where they are employed, under the mentorship of a school-based mentor and university supervisor. Emphasis is placed on appropriate application of educational theory and content knowledge in a P-5 setting through systematic reflexive analysis and critical evaluation of current classroom practices.
