EENG 7333 - Advanced Power Systems (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course discusses advanced techniques required for analyzing power systems, modeling their circuits and dynamics, designing and synthesizing various types of controls for such systems, state estimation, and their real-time implementation on digital real-time simulation platforms. In this course, unbalanced power systems are fully considered and analyzed using different approaches. This course requires students to work on related projects assigned by the instructor.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in EENG 3337 or Permission of Instructor. Restriction(s): NO Undergraduate Level Students
