EENG 5330G - Network Architecture and Protocols (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course introduces students to Network architecture and protocol layering. Network design principles, communication protocols, and performance measures. Socket programming, routing, error detection and correction, access control, multimedia networking. Graduate students will complete an independent research project which involves a written and oral presentation not required at the undergraduate level.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in EENG 3421 and prior or concurrent enrollment in EENG 5342 or EENG 5540 or permission of instructor. Cross Listing(s): EENG 5330 . Restriction(s): NO Undergraduate Level Students
