ECON 4339 - Economic Analysis of the Law (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course examines the effects of legal rules on economic performance. The incentives for individual and firm behavior encompassed in legal rules are analyzed. Topics include legal systems and the economic analysis of property, torts, contracts, corporations, and criminal behavior.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in ECON 2105 and ECON 2106 .
