CRJU 5101G - Global Cybersecurity (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 An in-depth study of cybersecurity from a global perspective, including cyberterrorism, cybercrime, and cyberwarfare. This course will address domestic and international cybersecurity policies such as those relating to how justice systems respond to these acts through cross-border cooperation between intelligence and law enforcement agencies. Other topics include analyzing the role of nation-states in the proliferation of cyber attacks as a force multiplier; region-specific norms addressing privacy and intellectual property; and the international system including cyber conflicts, threats to security, and non-state actors. Graduate students will complete an additional substantive research paper, project, or presentation based on course objectives.
