CRJU 3792 - Criminal Justice Internship (Non-Capstone) (3 Credit Hours)

Provides students an opportunity to work in a supervised setting to bridge academics with practical experiences. Students submit journal entries and other writing assignments in addition to performing professional duties required by their interning agency. Enrollment requires permission of the internship coordinator. This internship option is designed for students with under 90 hours of coursework and/or lacking the CRJU courses necessary for approved enrollment in the capstone option, CRJU 4792: Internship in Criminal Justice. Students can count a maximum of 9 internship credit hours, including hours earned in CRJU 4792, toward graduation.

Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in CRJU 1100.
