CHEM 4330 - Solid State Chemistry (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This is an introductory course in solid state chemistry. It will cover synthesis, structure-property relationships and common characterization techniques for solid materials. The lab component will cover select synthesis and characterization techniques of extended solids, focusing on Single crystal and Powder X-ray diffraction structure determinations, and Rietveld Refinement techniques.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in CHEM 3100 and CHEM 3300 .
