CHEM 3410 - Introduction to Molecular Modeling (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 This course explores the use of computational chemistry models and their application to chemical research. Topics include the computational methods and model chemistries, single-point energy calculations, geometry optimizations, relative energies and stabilities, calculations of NMR chemical shifts, and vibrational frequency calculations among other topics.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in CHEM 3401 .
