EENG 5434 - Engineering Optimization Methods (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 The course introduces the students to practical optimization methods for solving real-world applications and preparing them for a career in academia and industry. Topics to be covered include linear programming, unconstrained optimization, convex optimization, dynamic programming, and their applications to multiple electrical engineering systems.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in EENG 3420 and prior or concurrent enrollment in EENG 5540 . Cross Listing(s): EENG 5434G .
