MATH 5433 - Differential Geometry of Curves and Surfaces (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 Differential geometry uses tools from calculus and linear algebra to study the geometric properties of smooth curves and surfaces in Euclidean Spaces. Topics include: arc length surface area, geodesics, curvature, first and second fundamental forms, Gauss-Bonnet formula.
