CENG 5334 - Advanced Structural Steel Design (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 0,3 Lab Hours: 0,1 Develop skills in structural steel design and analysis beyond those taught in the basic steel design course. This course covers the behavior and design of advanced components used in steel structures, such as flexural members with slender webs (“plate girders”), composite beams, and beam-to-column connections and also framing systems for seismic design.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in CENG 4331 . Cross Listing(s): CENG 5334G .
