HIST 5257 - Heritage Tourism (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 History of tourism, with emphasis on heritage and tourism, and of the function and impact of tourism on guest and host societies. Aspects of the modern tourist industry and its products, such as promotional and travel literature, accommodations and transport, and tourist arts also investigated. May be repeated once as topics vary.
