CHEM 1211 - Principles of Chemistry I (3 Credit Hours) Lecture Hours: 3 Lab Hours: 0 First course in a two-semester sequence covering the fundamental principles and applications of chemistry designed for science majors. Topics to be covered include composition of matter, stoichiometry, periodic relations, and nomenclature.
Prerequisite(s): A minimum grade of “C” in MATH 1111 or placement eligibility for a higher math course (MATH 1112 , MATH 1113 , MATH 1441 ), and prior or concurrent enrollment in CHEM 1211L .
