MGED 4532 - Middle Grades Planning and Instruction (3 Credit Hours)

This is an advanced study of planning and instruction for middle grades classrooms. Broad themes include young adolescent development and diversity among learners, with implications for educators. Students plan for integrated and interdisciplinary curriculum and instruction, differentiation, a variety of assessment practices and uses, and academically challenging learning environments.

Prerequisite(s):  

A minimum grade of “C” in MGED 3131 , and admission to Teacher Education Program.
