Through readings and field trips, this upper level seminar course examines how individuals’ personalities, family interaction and larger economic and cultural contexts affect interpersonal behaviors from parent-child, family, friendship to romantic relationships. Students will be challenged to analyze individual relationships and learn to appreciate cultural construction of perceiving principles and norm behaviors.
